People reported by users. Apple requires you to act within 24 hours. Hide = banned from the app (can be undone). Dismiss = the report was not a problem. Delete = remove the account and everything in it forever.
Compare the selfie with the profile photo. Approve only if it is clearly the same person and they are doing the pose asked. The selfie is deleted as soon as you decide.
Events people paid to post. Approve puts it live in the app's Events tab. Reject sends it back with your reason, and they can fix it and resubmit without paying again. Reject anything illegal, sexual, unsafe or misleading.
Things people sell in the app. Listings go live straight away and disappear after 30 days. 3 reports hide a listing until you decide here. Remove anything illegal, unsafe, sexual or a scam (drugs, weapons, animals, alcohol, adult services, fake goods, “pay a deposit first”). Restore clears the reports and shows it again.
Ad requests (paid in the app)
A business bought a 30-day ad. Check it's a real business and the text is fine. Approve = live for 30 days from today. Reject = they can fix it and resubmit without paying again.
All ads
Ads only show in the app while they are On and between the start and end dates. Collect payment from the business first (bank transfer, Wise, PayPal) and record the amount here.
System check
Tests the real, live app and website end to end: two temporary test people (“ZZ System Check”) sign up, find each other on the map, chat live, report and block, and are then deleted. Takes about 30 seconds. Safe to run any time.
How to…
Handle a report: Reports tab. Look at the photo, bio and reason. If it breaks the rules, tap Hide. If it is serious (a minor, threats, selling sex, scams), tap Delete. If it is fine, tap Dismiss.
Verify someone: Selfies tab. Same person + correct pose = Approve. Otherwise Reject (they can try again).
Review an event: Events tab → Waiting for review. Real event, public place, legal, no sexual content → Approve. Otherwise type a short reason and Reject.
Ad bought in the app: Ads tab → Ad requests. Real business and decent text → Approve. The contact they left is only for you.
Sell an ad: agree a price with a local business (for example USD 10–30 a month), get paid, then Ads tab → fill in → Save. Turn it off or let the end date pass when they stop paying.
Add another admin: Supabase → Authentication → Add user (email + password), then in SQL Editor: insert into admins (user_id) select id from auth.users where email = '[email protected]';
